About this program
The National Council on Family Relations’ Families and Health Section offers the Excellence in Professional/Clinical Practice Award to recognize research- and theory-informed community or clinical practice that improves the health of individuals, families, or communities. The award includes $200 toward NCFR conference travel, conference registration at the regular rate, FH Section membership, and a plaque. Applicants must have at least three years of relevant professional experience, be current NCFR and FH Section members through the conference, and not be previous recipients; submissions require a two-page narrative, cover page, and two letters of support. Applications are due May 22.
