About this program
American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) seeks Expert Readers for its National Translation Awards to evaluate NTA-longlisted titles against their source texts; readers receive a $50 honorarium for each longlisted title they assess. Applicants must work directly from the original source language(s) of the text and have published at least one book in translation; the role is remote/online. Interested translators should contact Communications and Awards Manager Rachael Daum at rachaeldaum@literarytranslators.org with the language(s) they read and translate from; the call is open with no posted deadline.
