First Year Graduate Fellowship

About this program

The Rho Chi Society in partnership with the AFPE Board of Grants offers the First-Year Graduate Fellowship, generally awarded annually as a single $12,500 cash award to support a student beginning their first year of graduate study. The stipend is paid in two installments (September 1 and May 1 of the award year) after confirmation of enrollment in the graduate program specified on the application, and the award is not renewable except by Executive Council exception. Eligible applicants are those entering their first year of graduate study; recipients are selected by the Rho Chi Graduate Fellowship Committee and the AFPE Board of Grants and are announced at The Rho Chi Society Annual Convention, with application materials typically due by May 1.
