About this program

Canada Organic Trade Association (COTA) offers a grant to promote international exports of Canadian organic products by reimbursing 50% of paid shipping costs for samples sent to prospective foreign buyers. Eligible applicants are exporters who shipped samples to buyers outside Canada between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026 and can receive reimbursement upon submission of the paid shipping invoice. To apply, exporters must complete COTA’s application form, complete a survey describing the samples’ sales potential, and submit the paid invoice; applications for the 2025–2026 period must be completed by March 2026 and inquiries can be directed to Kim De Lallo (kdelallo@canada-organic.ca; 613‑482‑1717 ext. 204).
