About this program
Pennsylvania’s Department of Community & Economic Development offers the Foundations in Industry Training (FIT) Grant Program to expand registered apprenticeship opportunities for Pennsylvania employers. Grants support related technical instruction that complements on-the-job training and provides apprentices with essential academic and occupational skills. Eligible applicants include single employers, employer consortia, workforce and economic development organizations, labor organizations, local career and technical education institutions, community colleges, and community organizations or associations.
