Founders Award

About this program

The American Statistical Association’s Founders Award honors members who have provided distinguished, sustained service and leadership to the association. The award is presented at the Joint Statistical Meetings in August, with nominations due March 1. Nominees should be ASA members whose contributions—typically through long-term service and multiple leadership roles—have had significant and lasting impact; sitting members of the Founders Award Committee or ASA Board of Directors are ineligible. Nominations must include letters and contact information for individuals who can verify the candidate’s credentials.
