Frank Crossley Award

Sponsored by Jeffrey Wadsworth and Geraldine McCulley Wadsworth through The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), the Frank Crossley Award honors an individual who has overcome significant personal adversity while pursuing a career in minerals, metals, and/or materials. The recipient receives an award piece, $1,500 cash prize, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement to attend the award ceremony at the conference.

Nominees must demonstrate professional accomplishment or strong promise within the field and embody Frank Crossley’s pioneering spirit. Nominations are due April 1 annually and must include a completed form, a nominator’s statement of no more than two pages, a CV of no more than five pages, and two to five testimonials of no more than 150 words each.
