The American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology (AAVD) offers the annual Frank Král Award to recognize outstanding career achievements and dedicated service in veterinary medicine and veterinary dermatology. The award honors contributions demonstrated through clinical practice, teaching, research, public service, publications, technical innovation, and service to veterinary organizations. Nominees must be current AAVD members and generally must have earned their veterinary degree at least 15 years earlier. Active AAVD Board or award Selection Committee members and previous Frank Král Award recipients are ineligible.
