About this program
The American Psychoanalytic Association offers the annual Fred Pine Ph.D. Award to recognize an original paper that advances psychoanalytic theory, technique, or understanding of human development. The award includes a $1,000 honorarium, an opportunity to present the paper at a January scientific meeting at NYPSI, and right of first refusal for submission to the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association. Applicants must submit an unpublished or unaccepted paper by May 24, formatted in APA style, double-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman, and no longer than 30 pages.
