About this program
The Elks National Veterans Service Commission (ENVSC) is offering $1,000 Freedom Grants to 1,000 Elks Lodges for projects that support veterans and/or military members in need. Projects must focus on one of five areas: employment, homelessness and housing, current military members and their families, health, or educational support, and serve at least 4 veterans in need. Eligible applicants are Elks Lodges, with applications opening April 1, 2025, and reviewed on a rolling basis until all grants are awarded. Projects should address local community needs and can include events, supply purchases, or housing transition support.
