Full Resource Application (CTSC) — Request to use CTSC patient-related services and ancillary support

Weill Cornell’s Clinical & Translational Science Center (CTSC) offers the Full Resource Application to support patient‑related research services—including inpatient/outpatient study visits, nutrition services, ancillary research support, REDCap, biostatistics and core laboratory services—with cost coverage varying by category (Category A may cover hospitalization and research costs, Category B may cover certain ancillary research costs, and Category D charges are industry‑covered); no fixed award amount is specified and high‑cost services require prior approval. Covered items and any CTSC contribution are determined during Translational Research Advisory Committee (TRAC) budget review, and the CTSC provides limited ancillary funds for investigator‑initiated protocols. Applications must be submitted through the ePAR system and projects require TRAC scientific review and Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval before patient study. Eligible applicants are principal investigators (typically Weill Cornell faculty and partner investigators) with studies that have not undergone external peer review; investigators are strongly encouraged to consult CTSC staff (TREST, biostatistics, research data management) during application and budget preparation.
