The European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) offers the Gardner Lectureship to recognize internationally renowned scientists whose work is relevant to clinical virology, particularly diagnostic applications. The selected lecturer is invited to present at the ESCV Annual Meeting and receives a certificate, waived registration, society dinner invitation, and reimbursement for standard travel and hotel expenses. Candidates may be based anywhere in the world and must have an international reputation; nominations are restricted to ESCV Council members and must include biographical information and citations. Nominations must be submitted to the ESCV Secretary by January 30.
