About this program
NASPA offers the national 2027 George D. Kuh Award for Outstanding Contribution to Literature and/or Research, honoring a higher education or student affairs scholar whose sustained research has significantly or transformatively influenced practice at the national or international level. Nominations are accepted from July 29 through October 1, 2026. Nominees must demonstrate exceptional and sustained scholarship addressing important higher education issues, broad research impact through policy, practice, presentations, or graduate education, and meaningful engagement with NASPA. Any NASPA member may nominate an individual, and the NASPA Board of Directors may also submit nominations.
