About this program
The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) presents the George D. Rovere Award annually to recognize an individual’s sustained contributions to sports medicine education and orthopaedic sports medicine. The recipient receives an award plaque and is honored during the AOSSM Annual Meeting. Eligibility is limited to AOSSM members who have made one or more significant contributions to the Society’s educational mission and to orthopaedic sports medicine; the Education Committee selects the recipient.
