George Ginsberg Fellowship Awards

About this program

The Association of Academic Departments of Psychiatry (AADPRT) offers up to five George Ginsberg Fellowship Awards to support residents pursuing careers as clinician-educators or leaders in educational administration. Fellows develop an educational innovation project with AADPRT mentorship, attend the Annual Meeting at AADPRT’s expense, and are encouraged to disseminate their work. Applicants must be in an approved residency or fellowship program, at the specified PGY or CAP level, and intend to pursue an education-focused career; nominations must be submitted by an AADPRT Training Director Member from an institution in good standing by September 22. Each institution may submit one nomination and must provide a nomination letter, statement of interest, curriculum vitae, and a structured project proposal addressing needs, goals, methodology, evaluation, and dissemination.
