George N. Thompson Award (Society of Biological Psychiatry)

About this program

The Society of Biological Psychiatry awards the George N. Thompson Award to recognize individual members or SOBP-designated committees/task forces that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing the Society’s mission through leadership, publications, special projects, or other distinguished service. Individual nominees must be SOBP members; collective nominees must be SOBP-designated groups, and nominations are accepted only from SOBP members. Nominators must submit a letter of nomination (maximum three pages) through the conference submissions portal; the Honorific Awards Committee reviews nominations and recommends recipients to the SOBP Council for final approval.
