Georgia CTSA Pilot Grants Program

About this program

Offered by the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance (Georgia CTSA), the Pilot Grants program funds one- to two‑year pilot projects that catalyze clinical and translational research by supporting multidisciplinary, inter‑institutional teams and enabling preliminary, preparatory, or proof‑of‑concept studies. Awards are intended to generate preliminary data and evaluate the applicability of new technologies, protocols, data‑collection instruments, or recruitment strategies as stepping stones to full hypothesis‑driven investigations. Applicants must be affiliated with a Georgia CTSA partner institution and submit projects aligned with the Georgia CTSA’s aims; new investigators, established scientists transitioning disciplines, and trans‑disciplinary collaborative teams are especially encouraged and prioritized.
