The Phycological Society of America’s Gerald W. Prescott Award recognizes outstanding scholarly work in phycology through a published book or monograph. Eligible works must be in English, devoted to phycology, and may include edited volumes and e-books published in a prior year. Nominations should be submitted to Maggie Johnson, chair of the Prescott Award Committee, by February 15; recipients are selected by the committee.
