Gil Kushner Memorial Travel Award - SfAA

The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) offers the Gilbert Kushner Memorial Travel Award to provide travel support—two awards of $750 each—for students presenting at the SfAA Annual Meeting on research related to the persistence of cultural groups. Applicants must have been enrolled as a student during part of the current year, hold an accepted paper or poster abstract on the specified topic, and be registered for the meeting. A short essay (up to 500 words) explaining how participation will further the applicant’s professional goals (and optionally addressing interest in persistence of cultural groups) is required; results are announced in January and the webpage lists a December 20 deadline (no year specified).
