About this program
The **GNCRT Comics Librarian Conference Travel Grant**, sponsored by the American Library Association's Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table (GNCRT), offers two grants of up to $3,000 to support GNCRT members attending the 2024 ALA Annual Conference in San Diego, CA. The funding aims to foster professional development in comics librarianship by covering conference-related expenses such as registration, travel, hotel, and meals. Applicants must be ALA and GNCRT members in good standing, currently employed in any type of library or enrolled in library school, and available to attend the conference. Preference is given to those who have not previously attended professional conferences, and recipients must participate in at least one GNCRT-related activity during the event.
