About this program
Sigma Xi’s Gold Key Award is its highest honor, recognizing a member who has made extraordinary professional contributions and advanced the research enterprise, research integrity, inclusion and equity, or public understanding of science. The recipient receives a gold Sigma Xi key and is invited to address attendees at the International Forum on Research Excellence. Nominees must be proposed by Sigma Xi members and demonstrate significant scientific impact, innovative contributions, educational or mentoring influence, and recognition by the scientific community. Nomination packets are due February 15 and must include a one-page nomination letter, two one-page support letters, a current CV meeting Sigma Xi criteria, and submission through the Award Nomination Form.
