About this program
The History of Economics Society offers the Growth and Outreach Fund to support projects that expand HES's international scholarly community and foster institutional collaboration through activities such as summer schools, workshops, podcasts, and cross-disciplinary engagements. The program distributes $30,000 annually on a rolling basis with funding decisions made four times per year. Applicants must be HES members and submit proposals not exceeding 1,500 words, including a detailed budget, project narrative with timeline, and one-page CVs for all proposers. Multi-year projects with plans for independent future funding are prioritized, and all fund recipients must submit a completion report to the HES President.
