About this program
The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) offers the annual Harold C. Chapin Award to recognize exceptional, sustained service advancing the Association’s objectives. The recipient receives an illuminated scroll, a US$1,000 honorarium, complimentary Textile Discovery Summit registration for themselves and a guest, and additional recognition benefits. Nominees must be individual AATCC members with at least 20 years of continuous membership and outstanding service to AATCC; self-nominations are accepted. Nominations, including a description of the nominee’s AATCC service, are due March 31 and are selected unanimously by the CS61 Chapin Award Committee.
