About this program
The Hawaiʻi Technology Development Corporation’s HSBIR Program provides matching grants to Hawaiʻi companies developing innovative products that address critical national needs. Funding includes up to 50% or $75,000 of a federal Phase I SBIR/STTR award, whichever is less, plus up to $3,000 for Phase 0 grant-writing expenses. Eligible applicants must be Hawaiʻi-based companies that have received, or are applying for, qualifying federal SBIR/STTR awards, with requirements and deadlines determined by HTDC.
