HCS Travel Awards in Imaging and Histochemistry (HCS-TA-IHC)

About this program

The Histochemical Society offers Travel Awards in Imaging and Histochemistry (HCS-TA-IHC) to support members or prospective members to attend or speak at workshops, courses, meetings, or conferences where histochemical and in situ tissue imaging approaches are relevant. Eligible applicants must demonstrate use of in situ tissue imaging and analytic techniques (e.g., immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, in situ hybridization) and may apply at three career levels: invited speaker, invited instructor, or travel award. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and require a resume/CV and a recommendation letter that includes a brief statement of institutional support (mentoring, financial, or career development); include an abstract if submitted to the event and allow a minimum one-month review period. Multiple awards are available throughout the year, with specific eligible events, application and disbursement forms, and award details posted on the HCS website.
