Health Expansion Loan Program II (HELP II)

About this program

The California Health Facilities Financing Authority offers low-interest loans, ranging from $25,000 to $2 million, to support the capital needs of California's nonprofit small and rural health facilities. These loans can be used for a variety of purposes, from real estate acquisition to equipment purchases.

To be eligible, applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporations or public health facilities, have been operational for at least three years, and demonstrate financial stability and the ability to meet loan terms. Applications are accepted monthly, with a $50 application fee, and successful applicants are required to present their proposals to the Authority Board.
