About this program
The Electrochemical Society (ECS) offers the Henry B. Linford Award for Distinguished Teaching to recognize excellence in teaching subjects relevant to the Society. The award includes a silver medal, plaque, $2,500 honorarium, complimentary meeting registration for the recipient and a companion, an honor dinner, and ECS Life Membership. Nominees need not be ECS members, but nominators and endorsers must be ECS members; submissions require an electronic nomination form and two to five one-page support letters, with optional supplemental materials. Nominations are accepted March 15–June 15 in odd-numbered years, and recipients must deliver a related address at the designated Society meeting.
