High 5 Grants (NCVMA)

About this program

The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) offers the High 5 Grants program, allocating up to $25,000 annually across as many as five North Carolina organizations, with individual awards up to $5,000 to support community health, education, and responsible animal care. Funds may be used to leverage matching contributions and have funded facility upgrades, medical supplies, training, and educational programs; awarded organizations must submit a progress report and financial statements by November 23 of the award year. Eligible applicants are public or private North Carolina organizations with an educational mission that benefit people and animals in the state and must be affiliated with a veterinarian who is an NCVMA member. Applications must be submitted in writing by December 16 for awards announced mid‑January, and preference is given to organizations demonstrating fiscal responsibility and prior success; recipients may reapply in subsequent years.
