High or Medium Throughput Biodegradation Determination Development Challenge

ACS GCI Pharmaceutical Roundtable is offering up to $130,000 to a partner/contractor to develop a reliable, predictive, and scalable high- or medium-throughput assay or workflow for biodegradability assessment in drug discovery, with a final report due within an 18-month period. Proposals are due via the portal by 2026-09-25 (questions were to be submitted by 2026-08-06) and applicants will be notified by 2026-12-01. Applicants must be development teams or collaborative partners (international members/subcontractors allowed) and submit a single proposal of no more than five pages (including references) describing the proposed solution, team capabilities, prior relevant work with references, timeline, and a one-page budget, and must commit to bimonthly meetings. Selected partners will contract with ACS (ACS will own project materials and prior written permission is required for contractor publication/use) and must carry Commercial General Liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per incident and $2,000,000 aggregate, naming ACS as additional insured.
