High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division Subhash Singhal Award

About this program

The Electrochemical Society’s High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division offers the Subhash Singhal Award to recognize distinguished research contributions to solid oxide fuel cells, electrolyzers, related materials, processes, and manufacturing. The award includes a USD $1,000 honorarium and scroll, and will be presented at the 20th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells in 2027, with the recipient required to deliver an award talk. Nominees must have participated in the SOFC symposia series, made significant contributions in SOFC or SOEC research, designate the ECS H-TEMP Division as their primary affiliation, and be ECS members in good standing; self-nominations are not accepted. Nominations, submitted by individual members or SOFC symposium organizers with a nomination form, CV, and publications list, are due October 15, 2026–January 15, 2027.
