High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division Subhash Singhal Award

The Electrochemical Society’s High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division offers the Subhash Singhal Award to recognize distinguished researchers who have made exceptional contributions to solid oxide fuel cells, electrolyzers, materials, processes, and manufacturing. The award includes a USD $1,000 prize, a scroll, and presentation of an award talk at the SOFC-XX 2027 symposium; nominations are accepted October 15, 2026–January 15, 2027. Nominees must participate in the SOFC symposium series, designate the ECS H-TEMP Division as their primary affiliation, maintain ECS membership in good standing, and demonstrate significant research accomplishments in SOFCs or SOECs. Individual ECS members or SOFC symposium organizers may nominate candidates; self-nominations are not accepted, and submissions must include the nomination form, curriculum vitae, and publications list.
