Histochemical Society Capstone Research Grant

About this program

The Histochemical Society offers Capstone Research Grants of $2,000 to support undergraduate research projects using immunohistochemistry or other histochemical techniques, with projects expected to be completed in approximately one year. Funding is awarded to a faculty mentor on behalf of the student and supports data collection, presentation, or publication. Applicants must be undergraduate students and current Histochemical Society members, paired with a faculty mentor; preference is given to juniors, seniors, and mentors who are Society members, while international applications are welcome. Applications require a student-authored research plan, student CV, mentor biosketch, mentoring plan and timeline, and mentor support letter, with a scientific report due after project completion.
