Human Biology Association Student Travel Awards

About this program

The Human Biology Association offers up to five Student Travel Awards of $750 each to support student members’ travel to its annual meeting. Awards are assessed based on the applicant’s essay and advisor’s letter, with priority given to students presenting papers or posters and those who have not previously received the award. Applicants must be paid-up HBA student members residing in North America and submit a single PDF in January or February containing an essay of up to 1,000 words, a one-page advisor support letter verifying student status, and, if applicable, abstract-acceptance evidence.
