IADR Giddon Award for Distinguished Research in the Behavioral Sciences

The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Behavioral, Epidemiologic and Health Services Research Group offers the Giddon Award for Distinguished Research in the Behavioral Sciences, recognizing a peer-reviewed study applying behavioral sciences to dentistry. The senior author receives a $500 prize and plaque, while all authors are recognized. Eligible investigations must be published or accepted for publication between January 1 and December 31, 2026, and address social or cultural anthropology, education, psychology, psychiatry, sociology, or social work applied to dentistry; nominees may be IADR members or nonmembers. Nominations are due February 26, 2027.
