About this program
The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Gold Medal is its highest honor, recognizing an individual whose distinguished scientific accomplishments have expanded to make broader contributions to science, health research, or population health. The award includes a Gold Medallion and may be presented annually when a suitable candidate is nominated. Nominees must previously have received an IADR Distinguished Scientist Award in one of the current 17 categories and must have subsequently broadened their impact through interdisciplinary research, senior administrative leadership, or both.
