ICMA Conference Travel Award

Illinois City/County Management Association (ILCMA) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) offer the ICMA Conference Travel Award: ICMA will waive registration fees for two ILCMA members and ILCMA will match that dollar amount to help defray transportation and housing. The award supports members from communities without resources to send staff to national conferences and is reserved for first-time attendees of the ICMA Annual Conference. Applicants must be full members of both ILCMA and ICMA and submit a brief letter explaining the benefit to them and their community plus an up-to-date resume to the ILCMA Secretariat Office, Center for Governmental Studies, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL 60115. Applications are due no later than June 6 (year unspecified); final recipients are selected by the ILCMA Awards and Scholarship Committee and inquiries may be directed to 815-753-5424.
