The International Coral Reef Society (ICRS) solicits annual nominations and applications for a suite of awards, honors, and fellowships recognizing scientific, leadership, educational, practitioner, and policy contributions to coral reef science and conservation (examples: Eminence in Research, Mid‑Career, Early‑Career, World Reef, Coral Reef Conservation, Ruth Gates Fellowship, Graduate Fellowships, and Science Communication Fellowship). Awards include career‑stage recognitions, student and early‑career research grants, and professional development fellowships, with the number and focus varying by award. Applicants must be ICRS members and meet specific award criteria (e.g., Eminence in Research: 20+ years of outstanding research; Mid‑Career: ~10–20 years post‑PhD; Early‑Career: ≤10 years post‑PhD; Ruth Gates: ≤3 years post‑PhD; Graduate Fellowships: registered graduate students; World Reef: individuals from under‑represented demographics; Science Communication: any career stage).
