About this program
The International Coral Reef Society offers its annual Sustainability Award to support environmentally responsible coral reef-related meetings, workshops, and conferences, providing up to $10,000 to the host institution to help achieve climate neutrality. One award is available annually from 2024 through 2028, including a certificate and cash prize. Applicants need no prior experience, ICRS membership, or service record, but must submit a maximum two-page PDF describing the event, emissions-estimation methods, sustainability and compensation strategies, and a budget; nominations are due December 31.
