IEEE CIS Outstanding Chapter Award

About this program

IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Outstanding Chapter Award recognizes the local CIS chapter making the greatest overall contribution to its members and the local scientific, professional, governmental, and educational communities, and includes a $2,000 honorarium and a certificate to the winning chapter. Any established IEEE CIS chapter is eligible, though a chapter may not receive the award more than two consecutive years. Nominations must document activities organized in 2024 and include a nomination letter with nominator and nominated chapter contact details, a Basis for Nomination listing realized activities, innovative promotion ideas, dissemination and member recruitment/retention efforts, a proposed citation, and up to five supporting reference letters. Assemble the complete packet in the specified order as a single PDF named chapter_name-Chapter.pdf and submit via the IEEE CIS Awards Nomination online form by April 30 (strict deadline).
