IFLA Registration Grant

About this program

The Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA) offers an $800 registration grant to support CALA members attending the IFLA World Library and Information Congress, with recipients reimbursed by check from the CALA Treasurer after conference attendance. Applicants must be CALA members in good standing for five consecutive years (six months for students), register as IFLA members, and demonstrate service to CALA and conference involvement through a completed application form, statement of needs, supporting documentation, and curriculum vitae. Grant recipients must submit a one-page conference report within one month of attendance, provide a registration receipt for reimbursement, and commit to serving on a CALA committee during the following year. ALA IFLA Fellowship recipients are ineligible, and registration fees will not be reimbursed for cancellations unless documented illness, family emergency, or unavoidable circumstances apply.
