Sponsored by Hamid R. Parsaei and Waldemar Karwowski, the IISE Award for International Impact recognizes an Industrial and Systems Engineering member whose distinguished leadership and contributions have advanced the discipline and global or human development outside the United States. The annual award includes a $1,000 honorarium and plaque and is presented at the IISE annual conference.
Nominees must have lived outside the United States for at least 10 years, belong to an IISE International recognized partner society, and be IISE members in good standing. Nominations, due December 1, must include a two-page nomination letter, three recommendation letters of up to two pages each, and an abbreviated résumé of no more than eight pages.
