IMS Tweedie New Researcher Award

About this program

The Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS) offers the Tweedie New Researcher Award to fund travel for the recipient to present the Tweedie New Researcher Invited Lecture at the IMS New Researchers Conference. The award provides up to $2,000, reimbursed against receipts, with only one award available annually. Nominees must have earned their doctorate within the five calendar years before the award year or during that year and should be IMS members at nomination; extenuating circumstances may be considered. Nominations, including a recent CV, extended abstract, two recommendation letters, and draft citation, are due December 1.
