Industrial Oil Products Division Outstanding Achievement Award

The American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS) Industrial Oil Products Division Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes a scientist who has made significant and substantial research contributions in fats, oils, and related materials; the recipient receives a certificate, a travel allowance up to US$750, a complimentary Industrial Oil Products Division meal ticket, and the opportunity to present in the Division’s technical program at the AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo. Eligibility is limited to scientists with notable contributions to the science and technology of industrial oil products; current executive steering committee members of the Division are not eligible. Nominations are submitted via the AOCS Awards Portal and must include a letter of nomination describing the candidate’s research and service, at least three letters of support, and the nominee’s curriculum vitae including full lists of publications and patents.
