International Dissemination Travel Grant Program

About this program

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) offers an International Dissemination Travel Grant to support PIs of ASHRAE‑sponsored research in presenting papers at conferences outside North America, reimbursing approved actual travel expenses up to $2,500. Eligible applicants are the project PI and may apply during the project or within one year after project completion; travel must be to present a paper directly related to the ASHRAE-sponsored research. To apply, the PI submits a letter to the chair of the project's Project Monitoring Subcommittee (PMS) including conference and paper documentation plus a detailed estimated expense breakdown; the PMS chair forwards a recommendation to the ASHRAE Manager of Research and Technical Services (MORTS), and approved expenses are reimbursed after submission of receipts.
