Invasive Species Queensland Award (Outstanding Service in Weed or Pest Animal Science/Management)

Invasive Species Queensland offers the Invasive Species Queensland Award to recognize an individual for outstanding service and contribution to weed or pest animal science and/or management, including significant additions to knowledge, new management concepts, or long-term dedication. The award comprises a physical object with an inscribed plaque (cost not to exceed AUD 240); ISQ may meet reasonable travel expenses and may invite the recipient to give an oration at the PAWS dinner where the award is presented. Nominations may propose members or non-members but must be submitted and signed by one or more financial ISQ members to the ISQ Secretariat by the specified deadlines, and a committee appointed by the ISQ executive assesses the nominations.
