ITI Research Mentoring Program

About this program

The International Team for Implantology (ITI) Research Mentoring Program supports emerging implant dentistry researchers through mentorship, advanced training, collaborative research, and funded stays at a host institution. Mentee awards support travel, accommodation, and related expenses, with indicative funding of USD 1,500–20,000 for mentoring periods of one to 12 months; applications open August 1 and are due November 15, 2026. Applicants must submit an English-language application through the ITI Research Portal, including a CV and reference letter, and propose a research-driven project or skill-development plan involving an academic institution. Selection considers the candidate’s profile, research objectives and potential impact, proposed duration and location, and compatibility with available mentors; applicants may submit only one application per cycle and must be willing to travel.
