IUBMB Early-Career Research Fellowships

The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) offers Early-Career Research Fellowships to support 1–2 month research visits within the IUBMB region for early-career biochemists and molecular biologists (PhD awarded >5 and ≤15 years), providing up to US$6,000. Awards cover the cheapest airfare, reasonable accommodation, travel/incidental and living expenses but do not cover insurance or host-laboratory research costs. Eligible applicants must be residents of IUBMB member countries, hold a faculty position and be actively involved in training PhD students, must not have received an IUBMB Fellowship within the past two years, and visits to courses/meetings or retrospective travel are ineligible.
