J. Shelton Horsley Research Award

About this program

The Virginia Academy of Science offers the J. Shelton Horsley Research Award, its highest research honor, recognizing outstanding original research presented at the Academy’s Annual Meeting; the award includes a certificate and monetary prize. The submitting and corresponding authors must be Academy members in good standing, and the work must be original research or published during the preceding year. Applicants must submit the completed paper, application form, CVs for both authors, and required author and affiliation information by February 1; recipients must present the paper at the Annual Meeting.
