James M. Cretsos Leadership Award

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) offers the James M. Cretsos Leadership Award to recognize a newer member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in ASIS&T professional activities. The award consists of a plaque presented at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting and recognizes contributions including event participation, SIG or chapter activities, committee service, and member recruitment or retention. Nominees must have been ASIS&T members in good standing for four to seven years and be current members when the award is presented; prior winners, Awards & Honors Committee members, and current Board members are ineligible. Nominations are due April 1 and must include a 200–500-word statement, nominee CV and contact information, a detailed nomination letter, up to three support letters, and up to two supporting documents.
