About this program
The National Council on Family Relations presents the Jan Trost Award annually to recognize lifetime achievement and outstanding contributions to international family studies through research, teaching, and service. The recipient receives a plaque and recognition at the International Section Annual Meeting. Nominees may be self-nominated or nominated by others, and NCFR or International Section membership is not required; candidates should demonstrate sustained, family-focused international scholarship and significant contributions to international family organizations. Applications must include a nomination letter, two letters of support, and a curriculum vitae, with submissions due May 22.
